This Privacy Policy applies to the HydroNudge: Water Tracker mobile application (the "App"), operated by Kido Studio ("we," "us," or "our"). This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

- Email address
- Account identifiers, such as a Firebase user ID
- Profile image URL, if provided by your sign-in provider
- Language and account preferences
B. App Usage and Feature Data
- Water intake logs
- Daily hydration goals
- Current water intake and history
- Hydration summaries, reports, and export-related data
- Related preferences such as time zone, reminder settings, and day-start settings
C. Device and Technical Information
- Push notification tokens
- Installation-related identifiers
- Device model, operating system, app version, language, and time zone
- Crash reports and diagnostic information
D. Purchase and Subscription Information
- Subscription status
- Entitlement status
- Purchase history and transaction metadata provided by the applicable app store and subscription provider
E. User-Submitted Content
- Messages sent through AI chat or assistant features
- Content report submissions and free-text descriptions
- Feedback or support requests you send to us
F. Social and Community Data
- Friend connections
- Nudges, badges, and leaderboard activity
- Related in-app interactions needed to operate social features
2. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account
- Authenticate users and keep accounts secure
- Sync hydration data across devices
- Provide hydration tracking, reminders, exports, and personalized app features
- Send service-related notifications, including reminder notifications and export-ready messages
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases
- Generate AI-based hydration guidance and analysis
- Review reports, feedback, and abuse-prevention signals
- Diagnose crashes, fix bugs, improve reliability, and protect the security of the App
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
3. AI Features
If you use AI features, the text you submit and relevant hydration context, such as water intake history and goals, may be sent to Groq, Inc. or similar AI infrastructure providers to generate responses. Those providers process data according to their own privacy terms. We do not use AI features to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
4. Push Notifications
If you enable notifications, we may use your push notification token to send service-related notifications, such as hydration reminders, feature updates, and export-ready messages. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We may use trusted third-party service providers to help operate the App. These providers may process information on our behalf, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Crashlytics, RevenueCat, and AI infrastructure providers used for in-app assistant features.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your data for cross-app or cross-website tracking for advertising purposes.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With service providers that help us operate the App
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of the App, our users, or others
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business
7. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, and service-provider retention requirements.
8. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your personal information, request a copy of certain data, and object to or restrict certain processing.
You may also request account deletion from within the App, where available, or by contacting us at the email address below.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where some of our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in these jurisdictions, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App or by other reasonable means.
